Primary Function of Organizational Unit The Department of Psychology is responsible for teaching GEC courses in Psychology. The department also houses degree programs in English, Foreign Languages and Interdisciplinary Studies. Primary Purpose of Position To teach courses in First-Year Psychology.
Hold office hours for planning, grading, and meeting with students. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities The position is for an Psychology Adjunct faculty with an emphasis on classroom management and service to the department. Computer knowledge and willingness to train is mandatory. Use of University tools provided such as Canvas is required. Being able to communicate with students is necessary and expected. Minimum Education/Experience M.A. in Psychology or other related field Licenses or Certification required by Statute or Regulation The applicant must hold a M.A. degree minimum 18 credit hours in Psychology.
