JOB DESCRIPTION

NCCA is seeking an experienced school psychologist to provide a comprehensive range of services Reports to:

Director of Student Services Responsibilities Include:

Conducts comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations that include but are not limited to the following areas: intellectual, developmental, academic, adaptive, social/emotional and behavior Counsels students individually and in small groups Works with various school teams to support the implementation of MTSS Interprets and utilizes data for the purpose of developing appropriate interventions for struggling learners Provides crisis intervention for individual students when needed Provides training for school staff members and parents on a wide variety of topics Consults with teachers, staff, and administrators Performs related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

Master’s Degree and Educational Specialist’s Degree in School Psychology 6th year degree in School Psychology Licensing /

Certification Requirements:

NCDPI licensure as a school psychologist

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience providing virtual assessments Experience providing counseling services to individual students and small groups Training or experience supporting the MTSS process at the school level
