62AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top schooldistrict in Charlotte North Carolina to hire a School Psychologistto work in the area, providing services to children of all ages.
This School Psychologist will provide counseling services tostudents on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to theregular student population (treating mood disorders, autism,anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, conductdisorders) to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, andskill development. Responsibilities will include conductingpsychological assessments and evaluations to identify studentsneeds and strengths, developing and implementing individualizededucation plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, provide individual and groupcounseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issue.
They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators tocreate supportive learning environments, provide crisisintervention and support for students and staff as needed. Theywill also coordinate outreach activities that support students andfamilies including pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, andagencies such as DCF, DMH, etc.
