NSY | Contract | K-12 We are seeking experienced candidates to provide essential services in a K-12 setting located in Dobson, NC. This role is crucial for fostering a supportive and effective learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and eligibility for special education services. Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual students, ensuring they receive the support necessary for their academic success. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create and maintain a safe and conducive learning atmosphere. Provide training and resources to school personnel on psychological best practices and student mental health awareness. Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to intervention plans as needed to meet evolving requirements. Engage in crisis intervention and response, offering guidance and support during challenging situations.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field. Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist. Proven experience working with K-12 students in a school setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret psychological data effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and continuous improvement in practices.
