Practice Specific Details and Tasks:
- You will effectively practice within the guidelines set by your state licensing board, the American Psychological Association’s Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
Your role will involve conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations by integrating information from clinical interviews, administering and interpreting psychological tests (including cognitive and personality assessments), and utilizing collateral sources as appropriate. You will be tasked with conducting military-specific evaluations, which encompass Command Directed Evaluations, Security Clearances, Military Training Instructor Clearances, and Medical Evaluation Boards, as required. Establishing psychiatric diagnoses will be based on the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders, ensuring you provide accurate and clinically relevant insights. You will deliver evidence-based psychological treatment to both individuals and groups, guiding medical and surgical patients through their illnesses or injuries. Additionally, you will play an integral role in rehabilitation efforts. Your responsibility includes maintaining precise and up-to-date notes in the electronic medical records. You will actively participate in meetings during normal duty hours, including Mental Health Flight Meetings, Clinical Case Staffing, and Professional Development. Participation in military-specific training will further enhance your skills.

Duty Hours:
- Your work schedule consists of a 9-hour shift from 0730 to 1630, Monday through Friday, which includes a 1-hour uncompensated meal break determined by the clinical department.

Minimum Qualifications:
•
Education:
You hold a Ph.D. or Psy.
D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
Internship/Residency:
You have successfully completed an APA accredited Pre-Doctoral Internship or Post Doctoral Residency in professional psychology.
Experience:
You possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, demonstrating your clinical competency in evidence-based therapies and techniques, and in psychological assessment for diagnosing and treating disorders.
Licensure:
You have a current, valid, and unrestricted license as a Clinical Psychologist from any state.
Life Support Certification:
You maintain current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
Note:
You may obtain BLS upon acceptance prior to your start date.
Security:
You have the ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
