Candidates must hold anactive psychologist license in one of the following states:

Indiana, Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Georgia, New Hampshire, or NewJersey. Position Purpose:

Authorize, direct andmonitor care for behavioral health and substance abuse problemsaccording to clinical information given by providers and internalcriteria for medical necessity and appropriateness of care

• Conduct peer reviews with psychologist and licensedtherapist/certified Behavior Analyst for outpatient and/orpsychological testing requests.
• Interact with networkpractitioners to provide education on best practice models andutilization management processes.
• Interact with the MedicalDirector, or designee, to discuss clinical authorization questionsand concerns regarding specific cases.
• Respond to state,provider, and member complaints related to psychological testing orother services requiring review by a PhD/PsyD.
• Facilitateoutpatient rounds offering clinical input and oversight related tooutpatient services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience:

PhDClinical Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, or relatedfield required: 2 years Behavioral Health required WorkingKnowledge of psychological tests and testing procedures, diagnosticevaluations and evidence based practices. required PSY

• Psychologist Unrestricted License (PhD or PsyD) Upon Hire requiredor: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Pay Range:

$86,000.00

• $154,700.
