Job Description Associate director of Psychology willoffer clinical supervision to psychologist seeking licensure withinthe department that spans Behavioral Health and Medical Services.
Will serve as Site Director of Internship, orienting and managingday to day needs of the psychology Predoctoral Internship TrainingProgram. Will work closely with the Director of Psychology and ATto manage operations, enhance clinical workflows and offer clinicalservices where needed. Formulates and develops methods andprocedures for monitoring, evaluating, and operating mental healthprograms and services in assigned areas of responsibility,throughout Behavioral Health Services and through the Integrationof Psychological Services in Medical Settings Monitors andcoordinates review processes of assigned mental health services todetermine if programs are meeting health care needs, objectives andgoals established by the Mental Health Services DepartmentParticipates in the development of policies, standards, rules andregulations pertaining to mental health services MinimumQualifications 1. Master’s Degree in Public Administration, PublicHealth, Health Care Specialization, Social Work, Psychology orrelated field; and 2. Three (3) years of increasingly responsibleexperience in hospital or regulatory agency administration, withparticular emphasis on development and evaluation of mental healthdelivery services; or 3. Possession of a valid license and currentregistration to practice in a mental health field issued by the NewYork State Education Department (NYSED).
