Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs and eligibility for special education services. Provide virtual counseling and therapy to students individually and in groups. Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies. Participate in virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting. Consult with teachers and school staff regarding students’ academic and behavioral progress. Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations. Stay updated with best practices in school psychology and virtual service delivery.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Valid New York state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience conducting virtual assessments and providing counseling preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams). Commitment to providing equitable and inclusive services to all students. Compensation for this position ranges from $40.94 to $60.94. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
