The Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking motivated Psychological Services Associate, Corrections to join our Psychology Department at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Camp Hill. today if you are excited to the knowledge you gained in the field of psychology to make a difference in the lives of inmates!
OF WORK
As a Psychological Services Associate for DOC, you will help provide psychological services to a population of individuals incarcerated at SCI Camp Hill. Your work in this role will ensure that individuals’ mental health and general emotional needs are addressed efficiently and effectively during their incarceration. In this position, you will assist the Licensed Psychologist Manager in planning andanizing outpatient mental health and psychological services for SCI Camp Hill including the development and promulgation of patient’s treatment plans. You may administer psychological tests and intelligence tests under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist Manager. You can expect to conduct mental status examinations under the supervision of the Licensed Psychologist Manager and prepare psychological assessments. ly, you will conduct individual and group treatment for individuals diagnosed with mental illnesses, individuals convicted of sex offenses, individuals dually diagnosed, and general population inmates as needed.

Work Schedule and Information:

Full-time Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday – Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.

You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Salary:

Selected candidates who are new to within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin at the starting annual salary of $61,903 (before taxes).
pay will be considered for those who currently possess or obtain licensure as a Social Worker, Clinical Social Worker, or Professional Counselor issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Counselors. Documentation will need to be provided at interview to receive additional pay consideration.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

A Master’s degree in psychology or a closely related field, which includes fifteen graduate level credits in psychology, counseling, educational counseling, rehabilitation, human development, learning, or motivation. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Other Requirements:

Successfulpletion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
