JOB OVERVIEW
The Evaluator is a master’s level clinician (a graduate of a clinical or counseling psychology or clinical social work program) who performs psychological evaluations at JJPI’s Survivor Services program. This position reports to the Evaluations Coordinator/Supervising Psychologist or the Survivor Services Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluations (CBE) for children, adolescents, and adults in the outpatient program as part of a team and under the supervision of a psychologist. Interview participants and other parties involved in a participant’s care. Administer psychometric measures and interpret results. Write comprehensive evaluation reports in a timely fashion. Submit reports no later than two weeks after the date of evaluation. Attend clinical meetings and scheduled supervision. Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency, managed care, and licensing requirements. Adhere to JJPI’s SOP policy for completing CRS paperwork, including submission of utilization reports at the end of each week. Maintain compliance with guidelines and requirements of various funders. Work effectively with other staff and contribute to the development of a team approach to treatment. Master’s level clinician may also provide treatment services: Make initial contact with the client within five working days of assignment. Complete an initial treatment plan within the first two visits of client contact. Complete updated treatment plans every 15th session or 90 days. Complete clinical progress notes within five days of the session with the client. Complete case management progress notes within five days of activity. Follow up appropriately with clients who have missed a session and continue appropriate outreach. Complete a discharge summary within 30 days of the termination date. Complete required court reports for court-involved clients. Complete and submit utilization reports (case management and clinical hours) at the end of each week. Understand and communicate with other programs within the agency and work to foster a collaborative team approach across all programs. Understand the impact of the caseload requirements on the financial performance of the agency. Work with other staff to develop new treatment programs to promote the financial performance of the agency. Promote the agency in interactions with other agencies and professionals. Maintain own liability insurance.

Must have excellent interviewing, assessment, and writing skills Must function as part of an assessment team consisting of supervising psychologists and psychiatrists Ability to meet timelines
Preferred:
Training in providing evidence-based treatment to survivors
EDUCATION
Must have completed a master’s program in clinical or counseling psychology or clinical social work
COMPENSATION
