Full-Time Position Overview :
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to work with students K-8 students with social/emotional disabilities and Pre-K to 5th grade students with multiple disabilities. This position will involve conducting assessments, leading eligibility meetings, and developing detailed reports to support the academic and emotional well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct assessments for students, focusing on re-evaluations for eligibility for special education services. Lead eligibility meetings, providing all necessary documentation and data to inform decision-making. Develop detailed psychological reports and provide recommendations based on assessment results. Collaborate with school staff, families, and administrators to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all evaluations, meetings, and student progress.
Qualifications :
Masters or Doctoral Degree in Psychology or a related field. Valid School Psychologist License in the state of South Carolina. Experience working with students with social/emotional disabilities and/or multiple disabilities preferred. Strong understanding of assessment procedures, eligibility criteria, and the IEP process. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
