Position Overview:
Soliant is working with a K-8 public charter school in Summerville, SC that is seeking a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to support student success for the 2025-2026 school year. We are ideally looking for a full-time candidate , though part-time applicants will also be considered. The OT will work closely with students, teachers, and the special education team to provide individualized and group services based on students’ IEPs, supporting their access to and participation in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide school-based OT services to students in grades K-8 Develop and implement IEP goals related to fine motor, sensory processing, and functional school participation Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP planning and progress monitoring Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Valid South Carolina Occupational Therapist license Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work flexibly and manage a varied caseload Why Join Us?
