Category Schools – School Psychologist Job Type Contract A school psychologist opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in an elementary school setting in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. This contract position offers a chance to provide essential psychological services to support student development, learning, and emotional well-being in a vibrant educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized intervention plans Provide counseling and support services to students Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to guide student educational planning Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as appropriate Assist in crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in School Psychology or related field with appropriate certification Experience working with elementary-age children preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a school community Licensed or eligible for licensing in
