Premier Counseling is expanding its PRN pool of experienced mental health professionals to conduct Parental Capacity Evaluations across South Carolina. We are seeking Licensed Independent Social Workers – Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) and Licensed Psychologists interested in flexible, case-based work as independent contractors. LISW-CP/Psychologists will assess parenting capacity through clinical interviews, standardized assessments, parent-child observations, collateral review, and written documentation. Work is assigned based on availability and geographic coverage. This is a great opportunity for clinicians seeking flexibility, supplemental income, and meaningful forensic work.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough parental capacity evaluations for court or DSS referral sources 2. Perform clinical interviews and administer psychological/parenting assessments 3. Observe parent-child interactions in naturalistic or clinical settings 4. Review collateral records (DSS, medical, court, etc.) 5. Complete detailed written evaluation reports with recommendations 6. Provide court testimony (if necessary)

Requirements:

Active LISW-CP or Licensed Psychologist in South Carolina Experience with child welfare, custody evaluations, or forensic assessments strongly preferred Ability to administer and interpret psychological instruments Excellent writing and documentation skills Ability to meet deadlines and work independently Must be eligible to work as a 1099 contractor
