Jordan Walton | | 470-291-1509 Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join a supportive school district near Morristown, TN . This is a full-time position offering 37.5 hours per week, with responsibilities focused on providing high-quality psychological services to students in both public and private/home school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose referred students to determine eligibility for special education services. Maintain accurate and confidential records and reports in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations. Communicate and consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and interventions. Address psychological and mental health challenges through direct services or by coordinating with outside providers. Monitor and document services for parentally placed students with special needs in private schools or homeschool environments .

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet all requirements to serve as a School Psychologist in the state of Tennessee , which typically includes: Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution. Valid Tennessee School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain one. Completion of an approved internship in school psychology. Knowledge of

IDEA, FAPE, IEP

processes, and state/federal special education regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff. Previous experience working with diverse populations and students with disabilities preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data collection, behavioral intervention plans, and functional behavior assessments. Familiarity with services for students placed in private or homeschool settings. Comfortable using digital IEP and assessment platforms. How to
