Position Summary This remote school psychologist role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to students in grades K-12 through virtual platforms. The position typically requires 35-36 hours per week, serving a manageable caseload of 40-50 students. You’ll work closely with virtual educational teams to support student success through assessment, intervention, and consultation services.

100% remote with virtual team collaboration Key Professional Responsibilities Comprehensive Assessment Services Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations using virtual methods Administer standardized assessments through secure online platforms Complete functional behavioral assessments and analysis Participate in virtual evaluation planning meetings Therapeutic and Support Services Provide individual mental health counseling via video sessions Facilitate virtual group therapy and social skills training Deliver crisis intervention services as needed Support students with trauma, anxiety, and behavioral challenges Collaborative Professional Activities Work with virtual multidisciplinary teams on student cases Consult with parents through video conferences and phone calls Provide professional development on psychological topics Collaborate with special education coordinators and administrators Documentation and Compliance Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and recommendations Ensure adherence to federal and state special education requirements Track student progress and intervention effectiveness Required Professional Qualifications Educational and Licensing Standards Master’s degree in School Psychology or closely related field Active school psychologist license in Vermont Minimum 2 years of school-based psychological services experience Background in virtual or telehealth service delivery preferred Technical and Communication Requirements Proficiency with teleconferencing and virtual collaboration tools Experience with electronic health records and documentation systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional home office setup with reliable internet connection Clinical and Professional Expertise Comprehensive knowledge of psychological assessment tools Understanding of special education law and IEP processes Crisis intervention and mental health counseling experience Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning Remote Work Advantages Our virtual positions offer unique opportunities to serve students across Vermont while maintaining professional flexibility.
