Job Description
Barre Unified Union School District is seeking a Special Educator to join the district’s special education evaluation team for the 2025-2026 school year. The District Evaluation Team is made up of three building-level teams. Each building team consists of a School Psychologist and a Special Educator who are responsible for conducting the special education initial and 3 year re-evaluations for the building.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conducts record reviews;
- Schedules, notices and facilitates the evaluation planning and decision meetings;
- Conducts all achievement testing;
- Writes a thorough achievement assessment report, determines adverse effect, conducts observations and completes all evaluation documentation;
- Provides all reports to team members, including the special education case manager.
