• Seeking Radiation Therapist:

  FULL-TIME, $5,000 SIGN-ONBONUS!

• Radiation Therapist Summary:

• We are a superficialradiotherapy (SRT) provider operating in the Dermatology arena,with a focus on quality and customer service. Founded in 2016, weare poised to become the largest provider of SRT for Dermatologistsin the U.S. Our core competency centers on striving to be theDermatologist’s ‘aspirin’ in all aspects of SRT solutions for theirpatients.

• Radiation Therapist Responsibilities:

• Administerprescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts, usingradiation therapy equipment according to established practices andstandards.
• Position patients for treatment with accuracy accordingto prescription.
• Enter data into computer and set controls tooperate and adjust equipment and regulate dosage.
• Followprinciples of radiation protection for patient, self, and others.
• Maintain records, reports and files as required, including suchinformation as radiation dosages, equipment settings and patients’reactions.
• Review prescription, diagnosis, patient chart, andidentification.
• Conduct most treatment sessions independently, inaccordance with the long-term treatment plan and under the generaldirection of the patient’s physician.
• Check radiation therapyequipment to ensure proper operation.
• Observe and reassurepatients during treatment and report unusual reactions to physicianor turn equipment off if unexpected adverse reactions occur.
• Checkfor side effects such as skin irritation and hair loss to assesspatients’ reaction to treatment.
• Educate, prepare and reassurepatients and their families by answering questions, providingphysical assistance, and reinforcing physicians’ advice regardingtreatment reactions and post-treatment care.
• Calculate actualtreatment dosages delivered during each session.
• Prepare andconstruct equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, andprotection devices.
• Photograph treated area of patient.
• Helpphysicians, radiation oncologists and clinical physicists toprepare physical and technical aspects of radiation treatmentplans, using information about patient condition and anatomy.
• Train and supervise student or subordinate radiotherapytechnologists.
• Act as liaison with physicist and supportive carepersonnel.
• Provide assistance to other health-care personnelduring dosimetry procedures and tumor localization.
• Implementappropriate follow-up care plans.

• Radiation Therapist RequiredLicense/Certification:

• Graduate of an accredited program
• ARRTBoard Certification in Radiation Therapy, R.T.(T), or registryeligible within 3 months
• State licensure (if applicable)
