• Certification from American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
• Current CPRCertification

• Discuss varioustreatment plans with patient; developed in partnership with aclinical oncologist and physician.
• Establish the correctradiation dosage and location or area to treat.
• Help patients tounderstand the potential side effects of radiation treatment andhow to manage any associated side effects.
• Safely provide thecorrect radiotherapy treatment to patients.
• Operate the medicalequipment used for radiotherapy.
• Assure compliance with federal,state, and local technical and professional regulations andaccepted practiced guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost effectivepatient care in a professional manner.
• Works effectively tomaintain an environment of excellence, which is patient focused,providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
• Promotesand maintains a safe work environment for both staff and customers,incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
• Maintainaccurate records of patient treatment regimen.
