• Discuss various treatment planswith patient; developed in partnership with a clinical oncologistand physician.
• Establish the correct radiation dosage andlocation or area to treat.
• Help patients to understand thepotential side effects of radiation treatment and how to manage anyassociated side effects.
• Safely provide the correct radiotherapytreatment to patients.
• Operate the medical equipment used forradiotherapy.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and localtechnical and professional regulations and accepted practicedguidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in aprofessional manner.
• Works effectively to maintain an environmentof excellence, which is patient focused, providing timely,compassionate, quality patient care.
• Promotes and maintains asafe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporatingnational patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records ofpatient treatment regimen.
