Required Qualifications:

• One year’s experienceas Radiologic Technologist/n/t
• Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations/n/t
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)/n /n/n

PreferredQualifications:

• Current ARRT Certification/n/t
• Othercertifications and licenses may be required for this position/n/n/n

Summary:

/n/n The Radiologic Technologist performs advancedimaging procedures using radiographic equipment to producehigh-quality images that aid physicians in diagnosing and treatingmedical conditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain equipmentfunctionality, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliveraccurate and effective diagnostic results. /n/n

Essential WorkFunctions:

• Educate patients about imaging procedures andanswer questions if they arise/n/t
• Prepare and operate advancedradiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic imagesaccording to physician orders/n/t
• Maintains equipment andsterilizes the room in which procedure takes place/n/t
• Prepareand operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-qualitydiagnostic images according to physician orders/n/t
• Evaluatesimages for quality, present images and preliminary findings tophysicians and health care team/n/t
• Maintain and inspect imagingequipment for proper functionality, troubleshooting issues andreporting malfunctions as needed/n/t
• Document all imagingprocedures and technical details accurately in patient records/n/t
• Follows hospital safety rules and procedures including infectioncontrol and radiation safety protocols/n/t
• Performs other dutiesas assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice/n/n/n
