8 weeks Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and be proficient in performing MRI scans. This role is essential for providing accurate diagnostic evaluations that assist in patient care. The MRI Technologist will work closely with patients, ensuring their comfort and safety while obtaining high-quality images for analysis. Duties Perform MRI scans according to established protocols and procedures. Prepare patients for imaging by explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns. Ensure patient safety by following aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic evaluations. Maintain and operate MRI equipment, performing routine checks to ensure functionality. Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant observations in medical records. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques, including CT and sonography as applicable. Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations related to medical imaging.
Qualifications Must Haves:
- ARRT certification
- MRI experience

- Siemen’s equipment experience
- Avonto or Espree
- Academic Health System experience
