Travel We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) foran immediate travel opening in Montgomery, AL. The right CT Techmust have 1 year of experience. Read below for additionalrequirements. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for the use of computedtomography equipment and ensuring that images are accurate andpassed on to physicians for medical interpretation. CT Techs arealso responsible for the preparation of and caring for patientsundergoing CT scanning. Tasks As a CT Tech, you should be prepared to perform the followingtasks: Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explainimaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and supportas required Correctly interpret doctors’ written instructions Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of theirbodies Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic imagesof patients’ internal organs and tissues Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance thevisibility of internal organs and tissues Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technicalquality Follow safety procedures when working with radiation Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. Must have

BLS, ARRT

(CT) NationalCertification with registration in computed tomography, andstate-specific licensing when required. CT Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time,bend, lean or stoop easily. CT Techs must have a sound knowledge ofanatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Requirements

• : ARRT (CT), BLS, 1 Year
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning anassignment.
