Bonus up to $5,000 Physicians Care is looking for experiencedARRT Radiology Techs to join our team in South Pittsburg, TN.

The centers are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 8a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additionally,all Physicians Care centers are Accredited Care Centers

JOBSUMMARY
This position will perform x-ray testing including bodymechanics and patient movement using knowledge of anatomy andphysiology. Operates diagnostic equipment, develops film andprepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for theprocedure. Our full-time team members work a rotating 36-40hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts andevery-other weekend. Our PRN (per diem) team members are scheduledon an as-needed basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The following dutiesand responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of thisposition but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties maybe assigned
- Performs timely radiology procedures for subsequentevaluation and treatment by attending physician
- Performsnecessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams areperformed
- Prepares patients for radiologic procedures andfollows established clinical and regulatory procedures in regardsto patient safety and care; including proper radiation protectionand shielding techniques
- Ensures that equipment is in properworking order and reports any malfunctions to the Area Manager orprovider on duty
- Follows documentation procedures and completesrequired documentation related to patient visit
- Assumesresponsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imagingknowledge and skills with the support and assistance of outsideeducational resources
- Responsible for maintaining currentlicensure and certification for the facility radiology equipmentand licensure
