JobSummary and QualificationsThe CT Tech performs CT scans, providingthe highest level of customer service and image quality.

What YouWill Do in This Role You will perform CT exams following protocols and in a timelymanner, ensuring a high quality of care. You will prepare procedure trays with appropriatesupplies. You will take patient history and retrieve any necessary ordersor prior images. You will provide patient history/signs/symptoms appropriate tothe exam to the radiologist. You will appropriately complete documentation. You will coordinate patient flow and check the daily list toensure all exams are complete. You will support ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable)principles. You will inform patients about procedures and answerquestions. You will interact and professionally communicate withphysicians, patients, and family members. You will start IVs for contrast administration. You will use the power injector. You will contribute to after-hour coverage through on-callshift rotations. You will maintain all licenses, certifications, andaccreditations required as outlined in job qualifications. You will handle daily upkeep of departmental work areas(cleaning, stocking, etc.). You will promote customer service initiatives by adhering tothe ICARE values. You will support and participate in quality (QI) andperformance improvement (PI) plans. You will comply with quarterly targeted metrics (i.e., Kronos,HealthStream, PACS, etc.). You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development,assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate tothe ages of patients served. You will perform other duties as assigned.

What QualificationsYou Will Need Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology. Current ARRT certification with advanced registry, or registryeligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire orwithin 6 months of eligibility. 1 year post-graduate experience preferred, you will be workingindepedently in this role.
