MRI/Radiology Technologist ?The MRI/Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing avariety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician and forday-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patientcare in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment. ?What you will do in this role: You will complete MRI/General Radiology examinations, ensuringa high level of quality You will interview patients and review charts/orders to obtaina complete history and evaluate labs before contrast injection. You will evaluate the patient before contra indicators. You will be asked to assist the radiologist as necessary You will scan patient with appropriate equipment and correctorder exam. You will be capable of taking plain film X-rays You will have potential for exposure to hazardous medicationsas defined by TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center Hazardous DrugPolicy as either hazardous or antineoplastic. You will promote teamwork with the department and hospital. ?
What qualifications you will need:
? Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program. Two-year post-graduate related experience Current Registration with American Registry of RadiologyTechnologists (ARRT)Advancement certification in MRI If not MRI registered, will be required to obtain MRIcertification within 12 months of hire or will be released fromposition.
