Summary:
The InterventionalRadiologic Technologist operates digital equipment and performscomplex Neuro and Interventional invasive procedures by positioningpatients and preparing contrast media for diagnostic andtherapeutic procedures. Assists the physician in diagnosis andtreatment of patients. Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy andphysiology. Works with chemotherapy agents, cements, andembolization agents. This position is 100% clinical and may requiremandatory call as needed.
Qualifications Requirements:
Graduatefrom an accredited Radiography program. State of ConnecticutRadiographer license. ARRT certification in Radiography required.
