Job Summary and Qualifications Provides care forpatients requiring MRI procedures. Performs all duties directlyinvolved with procedures utilizing MRI for diagnostic procedures.
Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to producediagnostic quality images according to radiology practicestandards, and relay images along with pertinent clinicalinformation to the physician for interpretation. Assists withinventory management and patient scheduling. Takes backup call asassigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage. All employeesof North Florida Hospital will promote a culture of safety, followestablished policies, and adhere to all state and federalregulatory requirements, Joint Commission requirements, andNational Patient Safety standards.
What qualifications you willneed:
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days ofemployment start date Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) must be obtained within 6months of employment start date Registered Radiographer (ARRT) State Registered Radiologic Technician Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
