PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain a safe environment for patients/customers, team members and yourself. Adhere to MRI Safety policies, procedures and guidelines. Effectively document and communicate pertinent and required information. Perform procedure protocols, produce images consistent with image quality standards and follow all Federal, State and Regional healthcare regulations and adhere to Joint Commission/ACR standards. Properly identifies, prepares and/or administers medications that are within the technologist’s scope of practice as prescribed by a licensed practitioner. Demonstrate effective time management and critical thinking skills. Maintain flexibility, adapt to changes in workflow processes and the needs of the Health First organization based upon fluctuations in patient volume. Communicate effectively with customers (patients, LP, other Health First associates, the public, etc.) using excellent customer relation skills at all times. Utilize supplies/equipment with care in a safe, proficient and cost-effective manner. Able to work effectively and efficiently in a stressful work environment. Able to respond to life threatening situations. Work Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

Graduate of a Joint Review Committee approved Radiologic Technology program, or equivalent approved school of Radiologic Technology or Graduate of a JRCNMT Nuclear Medicine Program or Graduate of JRC-DMS Sonography Program.

Licensure:

Licensed as a General Radiographer in the state of Florida, if applicable.

Certification:

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) or Registered by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in nuclear medicine technology or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or Registered in Sonography by ARRT or in any sonography-related modality by the ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography). Advanced ARRT (MRI) examination obtained within two (2) years of hire/transfer. Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to report to department within 30 minutes when on call. Ability to work safely in a magnetic environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Work Experience:

Prior MRI experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Physically agile; requires walking, standing, running, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, or crouching majority of the shift. Heavy work that frequently includes lifting or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more with or without assistance. May require moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces, including reaching out and above shoulders or over head. May lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate people and/or equipment with or without assistance up to 90% of the assigned shift. May be exposed to inside environments and outside environments with extreme temperatures, air contamination, dirt, grease or water. May require working with biohazards such as blood/body fluids and airborne particles following OSHA and CDC Guidelines. May operate various types of manual and motorized equipment used in the transportation of materials. May be exposed to intense noise or vibration and awkward or confined work position. Communicating with others to exchange information. Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. Workspace may vary from open to confined; on site or remote. May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle. Benefits
