This position is a combination of Medical Assisting duties as well as performing basic x-ray imaging. Must have current X-Ray Florida Certification/license. Responsibilities Perform Physician ordered x-rays Perform non-intravenous injections, apply splints and dressings Obtain patient vitals, preparing patient and exam room for treatment Assist providers with preparing for minor procedures, minor surgeries, and physicals Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED is required Current Florida state X-Ray Certification/license is required along with graduation from a recognized medical assisting program BLS certification Excellent customer service skills Strong attention to detail Benefits/Perks Competitive Compensation Great Work Environment Career Advancement Opportunities You will also be assisting in maintaining and cleaning radiology equipment, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining an inventory of daily supplies.
