Radiology assistant will help transport patients to and from imaging departments, help with assisting technologist on preparing patient for scans, help stock and maintain a clean work area help stock with supplies when needed. Monday thru Friday 8a-430pm
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Modality Lead Technologists, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned for CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Radiology. These functions include directing patient flow through the department, greeting, escorting and transporting patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room. Must be able to anticipate, initiate, and respond to the departmental and customer needs, work independently and maintain productivity and workflow. Other duties include, but are not limited to, stocking the exam rooms and supply rooms, preparing the room for the next patients arrival
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of healthcare experience is preferred, but not required. 1-2 years of customer service experience is required.
