Minimum 1 year Licensure & Certifications ARRT Certification (Required) Active Florida Radiologic Technologist License (Required) BLS Certification (Required) Experience with EPIC (Preferred) Familiarity with Carestream PACS (Preferred) Position Summary Athena Medtech is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Travel Radiology Technician to join our Radiology department. This role is ideal for a motivated technologist with a strong foundation in diagnostic imaging who is ready to contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain imaging rooms and equipment to ensure readiness for procedures. Administer radiopharmaceuticals as required for imaging and diagnostics. Properly position patients and imaging equipment while explaining procedures clearly and compassionately. Input scan parameters into imaging systems and adjust for image quality as needed. Monitor patients during imaging procedures and ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols. Produce clear, accurate diagnostic images and communicate key findings to physicians. Update and maintain accurate patient records and reports. Assist in managing the daily imaging schedule, including handling emergency and on-call cases. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist ARRT certified and licensed to practice in the state of Florida BLS certification required Proficient with imaging software and systems; experience with EPIC and Carestream PACS preferred Excellent communication, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety
