We can’t wait to meet you! This position is for aMammography Technologist looking to work Monday/Wednesday/Friday,8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Operates mammographyequipment and performs various mammography related procedures.

Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such asdensity contrast, definition, and distortion. Explains proceduresand educates women about the role of regular mammography inpreventive breast health. Responsibilities also include preparingand maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjustingequipment as needed. Familiar with standard concepts, practices andprocedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan andaccomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under generalsupervision. Duties as assigned.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS

Requires registration as a Radiologic andMammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T. Requires current Radiologyand Mammography license in the State SimonMed Imaging requiresvalid hands-on CPR certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This positionmay require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds,sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing andwalking.
