Job Summary and Qualifications The OR Radiologic Technologist is responsible to facilitate communication, coordination, cooperation and problem resolution regarding daily technical operations between the Operating Room and the Radiology Department. Ensures radiologic coverage and smooth transition between Operating Room cases. Maintains open communication with subordinates and acts as liaison to promote positive interaction with Hospital/OR staff, patients, family members and Medical Staff. Functions as a staff technologist as necessitated by daily workload. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to produce and process images. Assists in the daily operations of the Radiology Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff.
