AART Certified X-Ray Technician (No BMO) OrthoEdge/North Florida Surgeons 2 Shircliff Way, Jacksonville, FL 32204 Job Overview As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in the medical field by performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients to help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. License required. Duties
- Conducting X-ray procedures following proper protocols
- Operating and maintaining imaging equipment
- Assisting medical professionals during procedures
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures
- Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate records. Schedule patients for MRI’s, CT Scans, and any other outside imaging studies. Obtain authorization for these procedures. Skills
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately position patients for imaging
- Experience working in clinical setting is beneficial.
Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations with precision
