ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Operates mammography equipment and performs various mammographyrelated procedures. Develops and evaluates the film for technicalquality such as density contrast, definition, and distortion.

Explains procedures and educates women about the role of regularmammography in preventive breast health. Responsibilities alsoinclude preparing and maintaining records and files, and cleaningand adjusting equipment as needed. Familiar with standard concepts,practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to planand accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works undergeneral supervision. Duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires registration as aRadiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T. Requirescurrent Radiology and Mammography license in the State SimonMedImaging requires valid hands-on CPR certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position may require duties including lifting and carrying upto 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequentstanding and walking.
