MRI Tech Assistant (Saturday Shift) 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars 1818 SW 15th Avenue, Ocala, FL 34471 Radiology Associates of Ocala is looking for a part-time Tech Assistant (Saturday Shift) to support MRI Technologists in a busy outpatient radiology center. As a Tech Assistant, you will ensure patient comfort and optimize patient flow. This position performs patient care in a professional, individualized, and caring manner. Additionally, you will: Facilitate patient flow in order to maintain patient schedules by getting patients ready for their exam (may assist patients in dressing/undressing). Work independently and steadily to ensure even flow of patients without delay or interruption. Inform patient and family of any delays. Fulfill organizational responsibilities as assigned, which may include: setting up instruments and equipment according to department protocol; cleaning exam/procedure rooms, instruments, and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control. Calls and/or faxes STAT results to ordering clinician and enters documentation into RIS.
