Winter Garden Outpatient Imaging /n /n/n /n The role you’llcontribute: /n /n/n /n Under supervision, the MammographyTechnologist performs those duties directly involved withmammography and a variety of technical procedures applying ionizingradiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Operatesequipment safely while performing mammography and any other typesof radiological procedures. Actively participates in outstandingcustomer service and accepts responsibility in maintainingrelationships that are equally respectful to all. /n /n/n /n Thevalue you’ll bring to the team: /n /n/n /n/n /n

• Produces qualityradiographs per the procedure manual. Documents history utilizesappropriate exposure, positioning, patient ID and markers. /n /n
• Repeats any view that fails to include all required anatomicalstructures or lacks proper contrast and spatial resolution. Adheresto all criteria on the Image Quality Action Plan. /n /n
• Operatesand maintains Imaging equipment in a safe manner. Adheres to allinfection control standards. Is knowledgeable of personalprotective equipment (PPE) to protect from exposure to chemical,radiation and/or biohazard. Properly wears Dosimeter badge andseeks to minimize radiation exposure. /n /n
• Performs a full rangeof imaging procedures and operates all imaging equipment inassigned department.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills forage-specific factors necessary to perform safe and effectiveprocedures on patients of adult and geriatric ages. The knowledgeand skills are acquired through formal training in an approvedschool, in-service, continuing education and/or experience.

Demonstrates a willingness to learn/adapt to new technologies andprotocols and help develop the knowledge and competency ofcoworkers. /n /n/n /n/n /n The expertise and experiences you’llneed to succeed: /n /n/n /n/n /n

• Minimum qualifications : /n /n
• Knowledge of Mammography and Diagnostic RadiologicalProcedures/Positions /n /n
• Ability to determine appropriatetechnical factors /n /n
• Knowledge of Mammography equipment andMQSA and ACR regulations /n /n
• Ability to learn and master newtasks related to Image Quality and Radiation Safety /n /n
• Abilityto communicate effectively and work with people of various diversebackgrounds /n /n
• Ability to complete Mammography exams in atimely manner even under stressful condition /n /n
• Florida StateLicense
• General Radiographer /n /n
• ARRT ( M ) /n /n
• CPR /n /n
• Preferred qualifications: /n /n
• 1-3 years in Mammography /n /n
• Qualified in Digital Mammography /n /n
• 1yr experienceperforming Stereotactic Core Biopsies /n /n
