ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

Operates mammography equipment and performs variousmammography related procedures. Develops and evaluates the film fortechnical quality such as density contrast, definition, anddistortion. Explains procedures and educates women about the roleof regular mammography in preventive breast health.

Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining records andfiles, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed. Familiarwith standard concepts, practices and procedures. Relies onexperience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs avariety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Duties asassigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires registration as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologistby the A.R.R.T. Requires current Radiology and Mammography licensein the State SimonMed Imaging requires valid hands-on CPRcertification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position may require dutiesincluding lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting forprolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
