ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operates mammographyequipment and performs various mammography related procedures.
• Develops and evaluates the film for technical quality such asdensity contrast, definition, and distortion.
• Explains proceduresand educates women about the role of regular mammography inpreventive breast health.
• Responsibilities also include preparingand maintaining records and files, and cleaning and adjustingequipment as needed.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practicesand procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan andaccomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works undergeneral supervision.
• Duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires registration as aRadiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
• Requirescurrent Radiology and Mammography license in the State
• SimonMedImaging requires valid hands-on CPR certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position may require duties including lifting and carrying upto 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequentstanding and walking.
