• 12 weeks in duration.
• Comprehensive training provided by SimonMed Imaging, both didacticand clinical.
• Expand your expertise and knowledge of breastanatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Become proficient in usingmammography equipment and software.
• Board preparation. Whatyou’ll do:
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examswith precision to ensure exceptional image quality.
• Learn andmaster mammography techniques through hands-on cross-training.
• Position patients accurately and prioritize their safety andcomfort.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering tosafety and quality control

FDA/MQSA

standards.

• Collaboratedirectly with radiologists and follow protocols.
• Maintainaccurate medical records and follow all compliance protocols forimaging.
• Stay current with advancements in radiologic technologyand imaging practices.

Who you are:

• ARRT (American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography requiredwith a current state licensure.
• 1 yrs of X-Ray Technologistexperience with an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, orequivalent, from an accredited program.
• BLS (Basic Life Support)certification.
• Strong knowledge of x-ray fundamentals, practiceALARA.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills. It wouldbe a plus if you also have experience in:
• Outpatient orambulatory setting.
• Other modalities.
