Schedule:

Full Time Shift :

Full time; hours of CentraCare operation are Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, and 8am-5pm on Saturdaysand Sundays, and some holidays. 40 hours a week, float poolschedule built a month in advance. Flexibility is needed, shiftstime may vary, but hours will fall within the CC hours ofoperation.

The role you’ll contribute:

Reporting to the Practice Manager and under the supervision of theProviders, the X-Ray Technician cares for patients and performs awide variety of patient care activities, including laboratorytesting and radiographic exams. Adheres to state, federal andorganizational guidelines to ensure quality care and patient safetywith support from the Clinical Excellence team. Is essential inmaintaining organization and facilitating patient flow. Activelyparticipates in outstanding customer service and acceptsresponsibility in maintaining relationships that are equallyrespectful to all. The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Drivescustomer service initiatives by creating and owning the patientexperience
• Performs basic radiological examinations, includingall quality controls/clerical duties. Processes referencelaboratory specimens to include venipuncture, specimen handling/labeling, and tracking results.
• Performs properly and legiblydocuments and reports all procedures and assessments in accordancewith department policy.
• Utilizing age-specific guidelines,assesses patient during clinical check-in, documents pertinentmedical information and vital signs. Assesses for signs of abuse orneglect.
• Completes general orders and any follow-up assessmentsordered by the provider, verifying as needed.

Respondsappropriately in clinical emergencies and triage situations.

Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need tosucceed:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CPR Certification
• Current State license (if applicable for state)
• GeneralRadiographer (RT) and/ or ARRT Credential in Radiography
• Must beable to operate radiographic equipment and work with electrical andradiant energy
