- Therole youll contribute:
- The Radiology Technologist under thedirection of the Office manager/Clinical Supervisor performsradiologic procedures as ordered by the physician. Assists thephysician during casting, treatment and examination of thepatient.
- The value youll bring to the team:
- Maintains current,valid CPR certification and Radiology certificate.
- Preparespatients for radiology procedures. Takes x-rays followingestablished procedures for patient care and safety.
- Uses a gonadalshielding when possible for all patients of childbearing age andall pediatric patients.
- Develops and processes radiology film.
- Maintains x-ray film files in a neat and orderly fashion. Ensuresthat reports and/or films are available for the physician in atimely manner.
- Logs radiology procedures completed. Processesroutine paper work. Types and files reports as requested.
- Minimumqualifications
- :• High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate ofa recognized Radiology Technology program
- Licensed RadiologicTechnologist Current, valid State of Florida Certified RadiologicTechnologist license
- CRT – Certified Radiologic TechnologistCurrent, valid American Registry of Radiology Technologistscertification
- BCLS – Basic Life Support
