• The Radiology Technologist under the direction of the Office manager/Clinical Supervisor performs radiologic procedures as ordered by the physician. Assists the physician during casting, treatment and examination of the patient.

• + Maintains current, valid CPR certification and Radiology certificate.

+ Prepares patients for radiology procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. + Uses a gonadal shielding when possible for all patients of childbearing age and all pediatric patients. + Develops and processes radiology film. + Maintains x-ray film files in a neat and orderly fashion. Ensures that reports and/or films are available for the physician in a timely manner. + Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes routine paper work. Types and files reports as requested.
