CT Technologist – Kissimmee, FL Job Description Under the direction of the Radiologist, this role involves performing all computerized tomography scans on various portions of the body to assist the medical staff in detecting abnormalities. The position also entails duties and functions as a Radiology Technologist as assigned. This role requires providing care and service to a critically through sub-acutely ill pediatric through geriatric patient population, demonstrating an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individuals served. Responsibilities Conduct computerized tomography scans to aid in the detection of abnormalities. Perform duties as assigned in the capacity of a Radiology Technologist. Provide care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Participate actively in fulfilling the mission of the medical center. Essential Skills PACS proficiency Current BCLS-C certification ARRT certification (R and CT) required One year of CT experience preferred State of Florida HRS General license Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate from an approved School of Radiology Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred For FSED roles: Must have at least 1 year of experience as a CT Tech and acute care experience Work Environment This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, paid time off, medical, dental, life, and disability benefits, as well as an employee discount and stock purchase program, and student loan repayment options.
