Description:
Atlantis Orthopaedics, a division of South Florida Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, PA, is dedicated to providing comprehensive orthopaedic and musculoskeletal care for patients in Palm Beach County. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a per-diem X-ray Technologist to join our team. The X-Ray Technologist captures diagnostic imaging related to orthopaedic injuries. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a general knowledge of anatomy and physiology and deliver quality images while demonstrating proper radiation safety practices. The X-Ray Technologist demonstrates and promotes a friendly, professional atmosphere for patients and co-workers. We are a very busy practice where it is critical to demonstrate patience and composure during increased patient volumes while always delivering superior patient care and services. This is a per-diem position covering shifts in our Palm Beach Gardens and Lake Worth offices. Interested candidates must be willing and able to travel to both locations.
Requirements:
Background/Experience:
Must be licensed in Florida and ARRT certified. Friendly, professional, organized, patient-focused, and accustomed to working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Must be able to perform routine X-Ray exams. Shifts will be scheduled in our Palm Beach Gardens and Lake Worth offices. Flexibility in scheduling is required. Reliability and dependability are essential. Experience with the AMRAD and/or Quantam equipment is helpful.
Physical Demands:
Use of digital equipment – X-ray and PACs, and general office equipment Standing and walking for extended periods. Lifting, pulling, and stooping when assisting patients up to 300 lbs. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
