The role you’ll contribute:
The interventional technologist is a vital member of a multidisciplinary team consisting of interventional radiologists, nurses and technologists. Interventional technology procedures consist of diagnostic angiography, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Resolves customer service issues in a timely, courteous and efficient manner.
When function is achieved with minimal (less than 10%) customer complaints.
Appropriate management of issues that did occur.
Informing supervisor of any unresolved or resolved issues with patient satisfaction.
Demonstrates proficiency in performing technical Imaging procedures on all patient age groups and ability to teach the same.
Able to perform patient care independently on patients of all groups.
Provides imaging procedures to all patients, regardless of age, race or sex
Never refuses to provide any patient with efficient and courteous care
Technologist is proficient on the use of their specific imaging equipment and the department’s policies and procedures
Independently operate imaging equipment in a safe and proper fashion
Demonstrates effective communication skills with all staff, patients, families and Imaging services administration
Demonstrates effective communication skills with all staff, patients, families and Imaging services admin
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Two years’ experience as a Registered Radiological Technologist
Current ARRT certification upon hire
Current Florida State license in Radiologic Technology upon hire
Basic Life Support Certification upon hire
