Medical Assistant and X-Ray Tech Position Available In Pinellas, Florida

Medical Assistant and X-Ray Tech Integral Urgent Care 130 Island Way, Clearwater, FL 33767 Integral Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant with X-Ray experencie and a valid BXMO to join our team. The MA will be responsible for assisting physicians with taking X-rays along with other office task such as patient care, administrative duties, lab work, and maintaining patient records. Our ideal candidate is a skilled multi-tasker who is capable of managing his or her workload efficiently. You should be caring, empathetic, and able to function well under pressure. Ultimately, a successful X-Ray Tech should have a patient-focused attitude, strong communication skills, and be committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients. Our office expects a high volume of walk-ins, so the ability to adapt quickly and handle a dynamic environment is essential.

Office Hours are as followed:

Monday thru Friday , 9AM-5:00PM with a 30 minute lunch. Saturday and Sunday , 9AM-2:00PM with a 30 minute lunch.

Job Duties Include:

Running the X-ray machine in office daily, and monitoring reports. Getting patients ready for consults with the doctor, including taking vitals and medical history and preparing clinical notes Assist provider with procedures Draw labs, perform EKGs, give injections and provide minor wound care Receive and route phone calls to proper staff member Act as a liaison between the provider and patients by communicating with provider to get answers to patient questions or relaying lab results Assist with prescription refills Provide professional, compassionate and thorough customer service to our patients

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred. BXMO License Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and multitask. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
