Job Responsibilities:

Assistin performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in theCardiac Catheterization Lab, ensuring high-quality imaging andpatient care. Operate radiology equipment to capture images of thecardiovascular system, following physician instructions andadhering to safety protocols. Prepare patients for procedures byexplaining the process, obtaining informed consent, and positioningthem correctly on the examination table. Monitor patients’ vitalsigns during procedures, recognizing and responding to any changesin condition. Assist physicians by passing instruments, catheters,and other devices during procedures, maintaining a sterileenvironment. Administer contrast media as required, ensuringaccurate imaging results while monitoring for any adversereactions. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures,including patient data, imaging results, and any complicationsencountered. Perform routine maintenance and quality assurancechecks on Cath Lab equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.

Adhere to radiation safety standards and use protective measures tominimize exposure for patients, staff, and self. Collaborate withthe healthcare team, including cardiologists, nurses, and othertechnologists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

JobRequirements:

Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy,imaging techniques, and interventional procedures in a Cath Labsetting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tointeract effectively with patients, families, and the healthcareteam. Proficiency with radiology equipment, catheterizationtechniques, and safety protocols. Active [STATE] RadiologicTechnologist License in good standing. A minimum of 2 years ofexperience as a Cath Lab Tech or in a similar role. Certificationin Basic Life Support (BLS). Certification in AdvancedCardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Experience with EPIC or similarcharting systems.
