ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS

Operates mammography equipment and performs variousmammography related procedures. Develops and evaluates the film fortechnical quality such as density contrast, definition, anddistortion. Explains procedures and educates women about the roleof regular mammography in preventive breast health.

Responsibilities also include preparing and maintaining records andfiles, and cleaning and adjusting equipment as needed. Familiarwith standard concepts, practices and procedures. Relies onexperience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs avariety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Duties asassigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires registration as a Radiologicand Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T. Requires currentRadiology and Mammography license in the State SimonMed Imagingrequires valid hands-on CPR certification

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Thisposition may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequentstanding and walking.
